PCE upgrade prerequisites

  • 1.  PCE upgrade prerequisites

    Hello Team,

One of my customers is running a 2x2 on-premises PCE cluster and would like to upgrade the PCE version from 25.2.12 to 25.2.41.

While checking the upgrade prerequisites, I am unsure how to verify the below-mentioned prerequisite.

Could you please advise how we can verify this requirement in our 2x2 PCE environment?

    • Ensure that no asynchronous jobs are submitted before you begin the upgrade. As a best practice, wait until all asynchronous jobs have finished before upgrading the PCE.

    Hi Kaleem!

In the PCE UI, you can check for running traffic queries under Explore → Traffic/Map → Load Results. The number next to "Load Results" indicates queries currently being processed.

You should also check Reports for running or scheduled reports and avoid starting exports, support bundles, or bulk operations before the upgrade.

However, the GUI does not appear to provide one consolidated view of every asynchronous PCE job. For a definitive check, use GET /api/v2/orgs/{org_id}/jobs and verify that no jobs are still active.

    Hope that helps. :)

    1. Log into the PCE web UI
    2. Click your user icon/dropdown in the top-right corner
    3. Select My API Keys
    4. Click add to create a key or select and view an existing key an API key
    5. On that screen, alongside the API key name and description, it shows the Org ID
