dear all,

is module for modprobe essential for ven agent installation linux ?

we currently install 23 server with almost every of them have same os and kernel rhel 8.10,

but 2 of them couldnt get policy sync,

error notification on dashboard illumio,

and idle status on cli linux server,

we notice that one of module couldnt check

should we input these command ? "sudo dnf install kernel-modules-extra-$(uname -r) " and restart the server ?

kindly need your advice,

The VEN does not require modprobe itself, but it does require the kernel modules needed for netfilter/nftables and packet logging.

could you please inform us how to check all the kernel needed for netfilter and nftables and packet logging, sir ? or after command sudo dnf install kernel-modules-extra-$(uname -r) , all of kernel modules needed is downloaded ?

Additionally, please note that during the VEN installation process, a dependency check is performed and verbose output is provided, which will highlight any additional requirements needed.
