Hi everyone! I'm Glenn Haarseide, a Sr. Sales Engineer at Illumio.
I'm currently focused on onboarding and getting properly started on my Illumio journey!
A big part of that is meeting our customers. I'm always keen to learn, exchange ideas, and hopefully provide some useful advice along the way.
A little about me:
I've worked in cybersecurity for around 20 years, with the last 12 spent as a Sales Engineer at companies including Palo Alto Networks and Zscaler.
I joined Illumio because, time and time again, I saw that even the best-of-breed prevention solutions couldn't stop every breach. My focus naturally started shifting towards a different question: What happens when prevention fails, and how do we contain the attack?
Illumio was actually one of the first solutions I looked at, but at the time there were no open positions in the Nordics. So when Illumio decided to expand the team here, I was pretty quick to jump at the opportunity!
These days I'm also playing around in my totally unnecessary, super-advanced basement lab, and really enjoying the visibility I now have across my Kubernetes environments and VMs.
Looking forward to learning from everyone here - and hopefully contributing a bit along the way!
