    If so, how frequently?  How about polling virtual servers?

    The PCE waits 20 seconds between each poll of an SLB. Depending on the load of the PCE, it may get delayed a few seconds beyond that. The PCE uses an event-loop that polls for configuration changes on the SLB, so new virtual servers will be detected in the same interval.
